Curiosity can kill the cat but this filly was very lucky. As Paul said cats are like horses!
This was the bizarre sight that greeted Jason Harschbarger when he heard his horse making noises on the hill above his house in Pullman, West Virginia. The filly, called Gracie, had to be cut free with a chainsaw after getting her head caught in the cleft of a tree. Mr Harschbarger, who took the picture before cutting her loose, said she suffered only minor injuries. He said: “She has a few cuts on her face and ear. Last I heard her jaw was a little dislocated but I think it is healing and she can eat on her own again.”
