SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats Dubby caught on camera
Caroline’s cat ‘Dubby’ has been caught on camera stealing Harriet’s the three legged hedgehog’s food.
This has hopefully not affected his diet plan too much as he is on a strict diet regime (see the Mewsletter for updates)

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats: Caroline goes to see Kajagoogoo
Caroline went to see Kajagoogoo at O2 Sheffield this weekend, the first photo shows Caroline with Nick Beggs the bass player and the second photo is Caroline and her husband Malcolm is with the lead singer Limahl – the band first appeared in the charts in the mid 80′s and have now reunited for several gigs. These pictures were in the O2 academy in sheffield

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats and MORE Flamingo Land photos
Just found yet another photo from Flamingo Land that had to be added to the blog, Caroline’s husband Malcolm riding the velocity rollercoaster; not that we’re big kids or anything

Have to add these photos to the blog. The first photo is Margaret, her son Richard and husband Peter on Velocity rollercoaster and the second is Margaret’s husband and son on Mumbo Jumbo rollercoaster.
My favourite is the first one of Margaret’s husband Peter looking a little shocked on the Velocity rollercoaster – sorry Peter

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats go to Flamingo Land….Again!
Sarah, Margaret, Caroline & Claire headed to Flamingo Land on Sunday 20th September. Unfortunately Paul couldn’t come with us as he had to ‘man the fort’ back at SimplyCats incase of emergency. Family of the SimplyCats team also came along, no doubt you will be able to put a face to a name as they are present at a lot of events such as Cat Shows, Open Days etc.
We had a fantastic day with beautiful weather….thankfully as we got soaked on the water rides so the sun helped to dry us out.
We all had a brilliant day, most of the team got ‘gold stars’ for going on all the rides….except Caroline who acted as photographer for the day :-) although we did manage to persuade her to come on the water ride

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats and Cats
We now have a humane ‘cat trap’ at SimplyCats, the device is similar to a large cat box, whereby the cat enters but then cannot leave, ideal for trapping feral or unhandlable cats when required to visit the vets.
Such devices are used widely by charity organisations to trap feral cats prior to neutering. Should you have a feral cat in the area, please contact SimplyCats or Cats Protection for advice regarding subsidised neutering.
Please note the ‘cat trap’ is a humane device, and is simply a wire carrier with a ‘see-saw’ on one entrance, so when the cat walks over the entrance it lifts up, therefore the cat cannot escape.
The device is available to hire should you require it, all we ask is that you leave a deposit of £20, which will be refunded on return of the cat trap.

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats staff cats visit the vets too
Staff pets also have to visit SimplyCats too. My two cats, Boris and Mable came to see Sarah for their annual vaccinations last week, much to their disapproval.
Here they are acting coy in their kennel, despite being spoilt rotten all day they were still happy to get home that night and torment the other cat and dogs

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats and Sunrise
I love sunrises and on the odd occasion manage to get up in time to take a photo.
This was taken at 6.25am 02/09/09, I was kindly awoken at this early hour by my cat Maisey, fly catching!

SimplyCats Vet Clinic → SimplyCats attends Cat Show
On Saturday 29th August, SimplyCats attended Teesside Cat Club Championship Show, we had a stall at the show and our Veterinary Nurse Claire assisted ‘vetting in’ cats to be shown on the day. We met loads of gorgeous cats and some lovely breeders. We will also be attending the Northern Counties Cat Show on Sunday 13th August where we will have a stand so if you are coming along please pop over and say hello to us.
