Pierre was rescued by the RSPCA and brought to SimplyCats for treatment as he was very unwell and had a suspected broken leg. On examining Pierre, he had a large abscess on his leg and thankfully the leg wasn't broken. Due to the treatment at the clinic and the loving care of all the staff and especially Margaret and her husband Peter he is now on the road to recovery, as you can see in the photos. Pierre has joined the Bancroft family officially and has been adopted by Margaret and Peter - despite Peter's original instructions to Margaret when she started at SimplyCats 'no more cats'. Sadly, on 8th September 2009, Pierre was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and was put to sleep. He is sadly missed by everyone, especially Margaret & Peter. He was a very special little kitten who had the pleasure of spending his short, but very happy life being spoilt rotten at home with Margaret & Peter.
